Donation and refund policy
Support should be purposeful, transparent and safe for donors, projects and the people they serve.

1. Acceptance and designation
Unity Bridge may accept unrestricted support or funding designated for an agreed project or purpose. A designation becomes binding only when accepted by the organization. We may decline funds that create legal, ethical, security, operational or mission conflicts.
2. Use of funds
Unrestricted donations support the organization and portfolio according to current priorities. Restricted funding is used for the accepted purpose. If that purpose becomes impossible, unlawful or impracticable, we will seek donor agreement for a responsible alternative where required.
3. Fees and currency
Payment providers or banks may deduct transaction or conversion fees. Any public donation flow will show the amount and material conditions before confirmation.
4. Refunds
Donations are normally final. We review requests involving an error, unauthorized transaction, duplicate payment or legal requirement. Contact us promptly with the date, amount and non-sensitive payment reference. Approved refunds return through the original method where feasible.
5. Receipts and tax
A payment receipt is not automatically a tax-deductibility certificate. Donors are responsible for obtaining advice in their jurisdiction. Any eligibility statement will be made explicitly and only when verified.
6. Restricted and high-risk gifts
We may perform due diligence, request source-of-funds information, set written conditions or refuse anonymous, sanctioned, suspicious or mission-incompatible contributions.
7. Security
Never send full card details, online-banking passwords or security codes to Unity Bridge. Use only a payment route confirmed on this domain or directly by the organization.
